Security Consultant - Mumbai India

Description:

With limited supervision, this person will conduct detailed assessments of information systems with cardholder data including applications, servers, databases, and other network components and associated processes against the PA / PCI DSS standards to identify areas of non-compliance. This assessment will also include identification of the flow of cardholder data. Additionally, this person will assist with determining effective remediation options as well as mitigating controls.

This position will be required to maintain thorough documentation including results of assessments, non-compliant issues, tracking of remediation status, and other supporting documentation where applicable. Also responsible for reviewing assessment results with appropriate owners, managers, stakeholders, and PCI project team(s). This position will ensure that cardholder systems are secured and comply with the enterprise information security standards, policies, and practices. This position will also need to provide input regarding interpretation of PCI requirements and will be involved with the design of secure architectures.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the areas related to Information Security –Consulting, Appsec, code review etc.
• Strong ethics and understanding of ethics in business and information security
• Should have lateral thinking and Investigative skills
• Knowledge in PA DSS, PCI DSS, OWASP
• Be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Willing to ask for help and willing to work with a mentor
• Willing to travel 40% of the time
• CEH is desirable
• Qualification: BE/BTech/other graduates with similar experience
• Location – Mumbai
