Omnyway engaged ControlCase as the official Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) company to assist in achieving and maintaining compliance with PCI DSS Version 3.2 for both their physical and cloud environments. The “PCI Certified” status indicates that Omnyway has met the stringent regulations and requirements for protecting and securing sensitive data.

PCI DSS is a global security standard created by the five major credit card networks. The standard aims to prevent credit card and data fraud by evaluating payment account data security and assessing an organization's network architecture, software design, security policies, procedures and protective practices. Companies that store, process or transmit cardholder data are required to validate their compliance with the requirements of PCI DSS.

PCI DSS Version 3.2 addresses the growing threats to customer payment information and provides better clarity for implementing and maintaining controls. The new requirements introduced in PCI DSS 3.2 are considered best practices until 31 January 2018. Starting 1 February 2018 they are effective as requirements and must be used.
