About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy Cybersecurity Sales Intern to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about cybersecurity solutions, technology-driven sales, and learning how to navigate complex enterprise sales cycles. You will work closely with the sales, technical, and marketing teams to support lead generation, client engagement, product demos, and solution positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Assist the sales team in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads for cybersecurity services
- Support in preparing sales pitches, proposals, RFP response and presentations for clients
- Participate in sales calls, product demos, and client meetings with senior sales team members
- Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and opportunity information
Cybersecurity Domain Understanding
- Gain knowledge of cybersecurity products and services applicable for compliances and regulations such as:
- PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 1/SOC 2 etc
- Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (VAPT)
- SIEM, threat detection & monitoring
Application-based Selling
- Understand client use cases and assist to map them to the right cybersecurity solutions
- Assist in building tailored solution presentations based on customer pain points
- Work with technical engineers to translate technical information into business value
Client & Internal Coordination
- Support Coordination with pre-sales and technical teams to arrange demos, PoCs, and security assessments
- Prepare documentation such as requirement gathering sheets, proposal drafts, and follow-up reports
Performance Tracking
- Support in tracking KPIs such as lead conversions, pipeline progress, and sales growth
- Help analyze sales data and prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Business, or related fields
Technical Knowledge (Preferred)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts
- Familiarity with tech-sales processes or B2B IT sales
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is an advantage
Sales Skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to understand business problems and propose relevant solutions
Tools Knowledge
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Email marketing / lead generation tools (bonus)
Soft Skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
