FAIRFAX, Virginia – ControlCase is pleased to announce that ControlCase Assessments has been accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) for ISO/IEC 42001, the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), effective August 13, 2026.
This accreditation authorizes ControlCase to conduct formal certification assessments against ISO/IEC 42001, enabling organizations worldwide to demonstrate that their AI systems are developed, deployed, and governed responsibly.
ANAB is the largest multi-disciplinary accreditation body in North America and a wholly owned subsidiary of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). As a signatory to the international multilateral recognition arrangements of the IAF and ILAC, ANAB accreditation is recognized globally, giving organizations confidence that certifications issued under its scope meet rigorous, internationally consistent standards of competence and impartiality.
ISO/IEC 42001 is the first international standard specifically developed to help organizations establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve an AI Management System.
