Amol Sawant is a senior Information Security and Compliance professional with 20+ years of experience in the IT industry, including more than 12 years in Information Security. He currently serves as Senior Vice President – APAC Certification at ControlCase, where he leads certification and professional services teams supporting clients across the APAC and CEMEA regions.

He holds an Engineering Diploma in Computer Technology and professional credentials including PCI QSA, PCI QPA, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, and ISO 42001 (AIMS) Lead Implementer.

Throughout his career, Amol has worked extensively with banks, payment organizations, service providers, national payment switches, and technology companies, contributing to more than 200 security and compliance assessments. His areas of expertise include PCI DSS and payment security, Information Security audits, IT risk assessments, application and network security, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, secure software development, cryptography, security architecture, and compliance consulting.

He is also an experienced speaker on Information Security and PCI DSS standards, regularly contributing to international conferences and industry forums.
