Omkar Salunkhe is Senior Vice President – HITRUST & ISO at ControlCase, where he provides executive leadership for the organization’s HITRUST and ISO departments. He is responsible for shaping strategy, strengthening global service delivery, maintaining accreditation and certification integrity, and driving the continued growth and maturity of ControlCase’s assurance capabilities.

With more than a decade of experience in information security, compliance, audit, and certification, Omkar has held progressively senior roles within ControlCase and has played a key role in developing and scaling global assurance programs. His leadership spans multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions, with a strong focus on operational excellence, audit quality, governance, independence, and consistent delivery standards.

Omkar’s areas of expertise include HITRUST, Information security and Privacy management systems, AI governance and management systems, accreditation and certification governance, risk management, and security and privacy assurance. He also contributes to the development of new service offerings, audit methodologies, and strategic initiatives that help ControlCase respond to emerging regulatory, technology, and market requirements.

Omkar holds a Master of Science in Information Security and IT Management from Edge Hill University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Mumbai.
