ControlCase Announces Certification as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the Payment Card Industry (PCI)

MCLEAN, VA – February 11, 2008 -- ControlCase, Inc. an innovator of compliance software and services, announced today that it has been certified as an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Security Standards Council. The PCI Data Security Standard (DSS), endorsed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc., requires merchants and service providers that store, process or transmit customer payment card data to adopt information security controls and processes to ensure data integrity.
